We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure projects and maintain critical electrical systems across our facilities. This role requires a seasoned professional who can design, implement, and optimize electrical systems while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical systems for new construction, renovations, and facility upgrades.
- Perform load calculations, power quality analysis, and electrical system studies.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC, local codes, and company standards
- Lead electrical engineering projects from conception through completion.
- Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings.
- Conduct site inspections and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor electrical system performance and recommend improvements.
- Oversee emergency response procedures for electrical incidents.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Conduct electrical safety training and risk assessments.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 132KV or 275KV competence Engineer will be added advantage.
- Minimum 7-10 years of electrical engineering experience
