The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cycle—from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools, colleges, and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.
This position sits with the Student Affairs Office (SAO), which is one of the functions within SASD. The SAO plays a key role in co-creating a meaningful and enriching student life experience through student-led activities, leadership development initiatives, residential life programmes, integration efforts, community engagement initiatives, arts and sports.
The Senior Executive, Student Development supports the Leadership Academy Team, the Student Governance Team, and the Transition & Integration teams in the administration of various student development programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Support for the Leadership Academy
Support the Programme Lead in all operational aspects of the Leadership Academy.
Support the deployment of NTU Global Ambassadors.
Monthly tracking of leadership development learning progress.
Programme Support for Student Governance
Support the Programme Lead in all operational aspects of Student Governance such as election and club management matters.
Support the SAO Advisor in charge of the NTUSU Exco in operational matters.
Programme Support for Transition and Integration Initiatives
Support the Programme Lead in all operational aspects of Transition and Integration initiatives and provide seamless coordination with various NTU organisations.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in any discipline
At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in providing administrative support.
Relevant experience in programme management in educational settings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Possess working knowledge of database and process management.
Service-oriented mindset, meticulous, organized, proactive, efficient and able to multi-task.
Good communication skills, able to express ideas clearly and concisely (written and oral).
Good interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with people at different levels of the organization.
A strong commitment and passion towards student development.
