Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Employee Relations to join our team. This role is responsible for managing employee relations matters, ensuring workplace harmony, and protecting the organization from industrial and legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Litigation & Recovery of Outstanding Amounts
Manage the recovery of any amounts owed to the company after an employee’s exit, including unserved notice periods and breaches of agreements.
Maintain litigation and recovery registers and prepare monthly status reports for Head of Employee Relations.
2. Industrial Relations & Dispute Resolution
Advisory: Provide advice on employment related matters whenever necessary.
Mediation: Manage grievance between employees and employer to reach amicable solutions.
Representation: Represent the company before industrial tribunals (Industrial Relations Department, Labour Office, etc) for disputes, termination cases, and legislative breaches.
Case Management: Manage industrial relations cases and collaborate with legal firms and the Malaysian Employer Federation (MEF) whenever necessary.
3. Policy Management
Assist in developing and administering the best practices and procedures for managing disciplinary, domestic inquiries and performance management.
Develop policies and initiatives that drive staff engagement and foster a transparent workplace culture.

Develop relevant content for the “Learning & Sharing” sessions, including Allstars’ onboarding, and conduct 3–5 sessions per month to enhance staff awareness.
5. Disciplinary & Performance
Manage disciplinary cases which includes conducting investigation, facts finding, seeking explanation from the relevant parties, preparing investigation reports and taking appropriate disciplinary action.
Manage performance issues which include examination failures, probation matters and/or Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
6. Operational Support & Administration
Document preparation: Prepare documents for bond agreements, employment letters, mandatory notifications to Labour (e.g. PK form) and documents relating to Court matters (conciliation, mediation, arbitration, litigation etc.)
Filing & Documentation: Create and maintain clear and accurate records of all the important documents (including bond agreements) and ensure it is kept secured and can be easily accessible/retrievable whenever required.
Vendor Management: Process and manage invoices from third-party vendors, including legal firms, the Malaysian Employers Federation, the Singapore National Employers Federation, and others.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel on employment matters.
Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Head of Employee Relations.
Requirements
Education: Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Law or any related field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Relations (IR) matters. Experience in the aviation or transportation industry is a significant advantage.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation e.g. Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
