TITLE: Senior Executive Assistant

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level strategic and operational support to multiple senior executives at Duck Creek Technologies. Operating at the Manager (Individual Contributor) level, this role goes beyond traditional administrative support to drive executive efficiency, manage complex business operations, and act as a liaison across functions and stakeholders. This role requires a seasoned professional who exercises sound judgment, maintains strict confidentiality, and takes initiative to solve problems and optimize processes independently.

  • Provide strategic administrative support to 3–4 senior executives (VP/SVP), managing complex calendars, priorities, and stakeholder communications.
  • Serve as a key partner in coordinating executive communications, both internal and external, including message preparation and follow-ups.
  • Plan and execute executive meetings and events including all-hands, offsites, quarterly reviews, and leadership forums with responsibility for agendas, logistics, and action tracking.
  • Anticipate the needs of supported executives and proactively manage workflows, information flow, and time allocation in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Own cross-functional coordination of executive-level initiatives and special projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and documentation to support visibility into team operations and key priorities.
  • Coordinate complex travel and logistics (domestic/international), and ensure seamless end-to-end experiences.
  • Manage expense reporting, vendor coordination, and budget tracking related to executive or departmental activities.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive personnel or business information.
  • Build strong relationships with other EAs and business leads to enable seamless collaboration across teams and time zones.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting multiple senior executives (VP level or above)
  • Demonstrated experience managing executive operations in a dynamic, high-growth, or matrixed organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED:

  • Prior experience in a high-growth, technology-driven, or global business environment preferred
  • Experience with executive-level communication, travel logistics, and event coordination strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce) and willingness to learn new platforms
  • Ability to use logic and judgment to identify key facts, propose options, and recommend solutions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored for internal and executive audiences
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
  • Ability to anticipate executive needs and take initiative without direction
  • Comfort managing changing priorities and shifting demands in a dynamic environment
  • Strong calendar and time management skills, particularly across multiple leaders
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent workflows while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Professional presence and demeanor, with the ability to represent the company in external interactions
  • Flexibility to support occasional travel, event attendance, or after-hours coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across geographies and functions
  • Capable of problem-solving in high-pressure situations with composure and tact

Work Environment & Other Requirements:

  • Travel: 10 - 25%
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the job location

Actual compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location, where permitted by law.

For reference, the expected salary range for this position is generally positioned as follows based on candidate location:

  • $85,000 – 121,400: Candidates living in the Boston, New York City–Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, or Washington, DC metropolitan areas
  • $81,000 – 115,700: Candidates living in Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia metropolitan areas, or in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, or Vermont
  • $77,000 – 110,000: Candidates living in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oregon, or Wisconsin
  • $68,200 – 106,500: For all other U.S. locations

This position is also eligible for annual bonus compensation, subject to plan terms and individual eligibility.

Final compensation will be determined based on the factors outlined above and in accordance with applicable law.
