Senior Executive, Admissions and Scholarship

The Senior Executive, Admissions and Scholarship is responsible for supporting the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of admissions and scholarship initiatives. The role ensures efficient end-to-end admissions processes, robust and compliant scholarship administration, and consistent stakeholder communications aligned with institutional branding.

This position plays a key operational role in strengthening recruitment outcomes, enhancing global engagement, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience for incoming students and scholars.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Admissions Planning & Execution

  • Support the development and implementation of admissions strategies to achieve enrolment targets.

  • Coordinate end-to-end application review processes, including documentation, evaluation timelines, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Monitor recruitment funnel metrics and prepare periodic performance reports.

  • Ensure consistent, professional, and brand-aligned communications throughout the applicant journey.

  • Provide data-informed insights to improve recruitment effectiveness and process efficiency.

2. Scholarship Management & Governance

  • Support planning and monitoring of scholarship allocations, pipelines, and award utilization.

  • Coordinate scholarship evaluation and selection processes, including panel logistics and award administration.

  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, eligibility criteria, and regulatory requirements.

  • Track and report on scholarship metrics, including diversity, inclusion, and geographic representation objectives.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and transparent budgeting processes to ensure governance and audit readiness.

  • Manage timely and professional communications with scholarship recipients and stakeholders.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Develop and coordinate clear communications to applicants, scholars, and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure consistency of institutional brand voice across admissions and scholarship touchpoints.

  • Liaise with academic units, marketing, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations.

  • Support outreach initiatives, recruitment events, and information sessions to enhance engagement.

4. Global Engagement & Onboarding Support

  • Plan and coordinate ad-hoc initiatives that support global engagement and recruitment objectives.

  • Organize welcome events and onboarding activities to facilitate smooth transition for incoming students.

  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance scholar integration and retention.

5. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor key performance indicators for admissions and scholarship initiatives.

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain accurate records and support management reporting requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to institutional governance standards and best practices.

6. Ad-Hoc Duties

  • Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, preferably in Marketing, communications or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in admissions, scholarship administration, or related functions.

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage, especially in evaluating outreach and recruitment effectiveness.

  • Effective scholarship management with transparent budgeting and awarding processes.
