Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located in Woodbridge, VA is looking for a Full-time Senior Environmental Service Tech
Senior Environmental Services (EVS) Tech supervises daily cleaning/janitorial operations, leads a team, ensures high cleanliness/sanitation standards (especially in healthcare), trains staff on protocols (like green cleaning, PPE, infection control), manages supplies, creates schedules, inspects work, and reports to management, focusing on creating a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff, or occupants.
Key duties involve hands-on cleaning, team leadership, adherence to standards (e.g., hospital guidelines), and coordination with other departments.
M-F 7am-330pm with rotating weekends
High school diploma
3 years of Environmental Services experience
Certification- obtain CHEST certification per job profile and Hazardous Waste training in first year
