The Role and Impact:
As a Senior Equipment Spare Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating Intel's manufacturing goals, market dynamics, and business requirements into actionable strategies to ensure seamless equipment spare management across New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) ramp readiness.
You will be a key contributor in driving supply chain optimization, inventory health, and cost efficiency while collaborating closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to set and achieve critical program goals.
Your expertise will influence supplier and component selection, ensure bills of materials integrity, and deliver assessments and solutions that directly impact Intel's ability to innovate and excel in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor raw materials acquisition to support NPI programs and ensure smooth transitions to HVM.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to align materials requirements, customer demand, and program goals.
- Develop and execute risk assessment and mitigation strategies for bills of materials while ensuring cost and quality benchmarks are met.
- Analyze complex data to design solutions that enhance supply chain processes and drive operational efficiencies.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, optimal cycle time performance, and resolution of material escalations.
- Oversee BOM cost benchmarking/optimization, Engineering Change Order (ECO) closures, liability settlements, and new site ramp readiness.
- Provide comprehensive program assessments and status updates to stakeholders, establishing contingency plans as needed to address gaps.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of systems and tools to streamline materials processes across organizational teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in equipment spare management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Proficiency in supply chain systems, data analytics tools, and materials planning processes.
- Expertise in BOM management and supplier coordination.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and NPI workflows.

- Master's degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
- Strong collaborative skills with experience working across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify innovative solutions and drive process improvements in complex systems.
- Strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions that balance cost, quality, and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to lead supplier relationships and manage contractual requirements effectively.
