Overview
The Senior Enterprise Vendor Relationship Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for supporting enterprise-wide sourcing, contract optimization, and vendor governance across technology spend, including software, IT assets, and professional services.
This role partners closely with Technology, Finawnce, Legal, Security, and business stakeholders to drive cost-effective procurement outcomes, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure vendor relationships are managed with discipline, transparency, and accountability.
This position is ideal for a strategic procurement professional who can operate independently on complex initiatives and influence outcomes through strong commercial and analytical expertise.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end procurement initiatives across technology categories, from intake through supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and execution.
Develop and support sourcing strategies aligned with organizational priorities, technology roadmaps, and financial goals.
Conduct competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFIs), supplier benchmarking, and market analysis to drive best-value decisions.
Negotiate commercial terms with technology vendors, including pricing, renewals, service levels, and contract protections.
Manage strategic vendor relationships by implementing governance routines, performance scorecards, and KPI monitoring.
Lead recurring supplier reviews (QBRs, operational check-ins) to ensure service quality and delivery accountability.
Analyze technology spend trends to identify cost savings, consolidation opportunities, and improved contract value realization.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure vendor engagements meet compliance, security, and third-party risk standards.
Support process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency, stakeholder experience, and scalable vendor management practices.
What we’re looking for
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
Exemplary business partnership and organizational management skills
Proficiency in managing escalations, working cross-functionally to achieve resolution, and takes pride in helping others succeed
Experience taking operational, data-driven metrics to drive decision making and value
A self-starter that can analyze, plan, lead, execute, and measure results to deliver successful outcomes, maintaining transparency, with minimal guidance or support.
Known for making sound decisions in complex situations and under pressure
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to organize with strong attention to detail
Strong intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
