Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study, with 3 yrs. of work experience in an IT environment supporting two of the following Windows Server Administration, Storage Area Network Administration, UNIX/Linux Server Administration -OR- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study, with 5 yrs. of work experience in an IT environment supporting two of the following Windows Server Administration, Storage Area Network Administration, UNIX/Linux Server Administration -OR- Associates degree in Computer Science or related field of study, with 7 yrs. of work experience in an IT environment supporting two of the following Windows Server Administration, Storage Area Network Administration, UNIX/Linux Server Administration -OR- High School Diploma/GED with 9 yrs. of work experience in an IT environment supporting two of the following Windows Server Administration, Storage Area Network Administration, UNIX/Linux Server Administration.
Required to be on-call and to respond immediately to trouble calls outside of general work hours.
Work occasionally may require in excess of eight hours per day.
Workload pressure will regularly subject incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress.
Ability to work in a team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
5 years of work experience in an IT environment supporting two of the following Windows Server Administration, Storage Area Network Administration, UNIX/Linux Server Administration.
2 years of experience supporting Epic IRIS/Cache.
2 years of experience supporting RHEL infrastructure.
Epic – ODBA Certified.
Database performance tuning and optimization, backup/recovery strategies, disaster recovery design, scripting, working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts.
