General Description:
BeOne Medicines is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our team at the Hopewell, NJ site. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional site CAPEX and OPEX projects spanning manufacturing, facilities, and utilities. This role will collaborate closely with internal teams and external teams to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, safety compliance and project objectives.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a project manager for small capex ($0-3M) and OPEX projects at the Hopewell site.
Coordinate and manage engineering standards, project standards and processes. Develop a roadmap for small projects at the site.
Develop and maintain integrated project timelines, risk assessments, and mitigation plans for activities.
Facilitate cross-functional communication between internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, MST, QA, QC, Supply Chain, Engineering).
Drive project team meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and provide regular status reports to senior management.
Monitor and report on key project deliverables, risks, and budget status.
Ensure project activities are executed in alignment with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and program goals.
Partner with engineering to support lifecycle management of documents, and deliverables.
Contribute to process and operational improvements within the Hopewell Site.
Education Required:
BS or higher in engineering and/or related discipline.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, engineering, and/or project management and at least 3 years of project management experience in biologics or GMP environment including supervising construction activities.
Proficiency in project management tools including MS Proj, AutoCad, Excel, and Smartsheet
Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously under tight timelines.
Analytical problem-solving skills and proactive decision-making.
Ability to summarize and present project information clearly to management.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
OSHA 30.
OE and/or LEAN Methodologies
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office environment, construction site, and laboratory or manufacturing areas.
May require up to 5% travel, including visits to partner or manufacturing sites.
Must be able to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Autocad, Smartsheet.
Familiarity with data management and visualization tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power BI).
Ability to create and maintain Gantt charts, dashboards, and tracking templates.
Comfortable working within document management systems (e.g., Veeva Vault, eQMS, or similar).
