Responsibilities:

1. Capacity Planning & Demand Matching

  • Develop and maintain the fab-wide plant capacity model, ensuring alignment with customer wafer demand and tool input requirements.
  • Analyze capacity gaps and proactively initiate actions to close them.
  • Partner with process modules to ensure equipment readiness ahead of production needs to meet customer required dates.

2. Equipment Utilization & Productivity

  • Calculate and monitor equipment capacity utilization across all fab modules.
  • Identify equipment bottlenecks and lead productivity improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to track and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

3. Cycle Time Reduction

  •  Calculate the intrinsic cycle time of the fab (ideal processing time without queueing).
  • Work with manufacturing and process engineering teams to reduce cycle time and improve throughput.

4. Tool Redundancy & Fab Stability

  • Collaborate with process owners to implement redundancy plans for critical tools to enhance fab stability and resilience.

5. Layout Planning & Space Management

  • Act as the Industrial Engineering lead for tool layout and fab space planning:
  • Identify space for new equipment and coordinate with facilities and equipment teams for tool installation.
  • Create and update AutoCAD tool layouts, ensuring all tools and utilities are properly marked and documented.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool placement and space utilization.

6. Staff Support & HR Coordination

  • Work with HR and operations teams to manage seating arrangements for staff across SP2 and external office spaces.

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the field of Industrial Engineering in a Semiconductor Wafer Fab is preferred.
  • Proficiency in capacity modelling, AutoCAD, and familiarity with lean manufacturing tools.
