Ensure all physical plant facilities, water treatment systems operate reliably and in compliance with standards and ensure validation of production cleaning and sanitation processes. Identify and implement water-saving projects to support water conservation targets and business efficiency.
Responsibilities
Water System Maintenance:
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for water treatment units (Demin & RO Water, softeners, UV, tanks, pumps, and distribution systems).
- Ensure compliance with water quality standards (microbiological, conductivity, TOC).
- Success metrics: Uptime ≥ 98%, 100% audit compliance.
Cleaning & Sanitation Process Validation:
- Develop and execute CIP/COP validation protocols, including residue and microbiological testing.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures are validated and properly documented.
- Success metrics: 100% up-to-date validations, zero critical audit findings.
Water & Cost Saving Projects:
- Identify opportunities to reduce water consumption and operating costs.
- Lead the implementation of water conservation projects in line with budget targets.
- Success metrics: ≥ 10% YoY reduction in water consumption, savings achieved as targeted.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all activities comply with GMP, EHS, and local regulations.
- Success metrics: Zero safety incidents, 100% audit compliance.
Facility Maintenance
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance for non-utility facilities.
- Handle corrective maintenance and perform root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in plant utilities and sanitation validation (F&B, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries).
- Strong knowledge of water treatment systems for Demin/RO/Purified Water, CIP/COP, and cGMP.
- Data analysis, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
