What success looks like in this role:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business and operational stakeholders
- Build and optimize Azure-based data solutions using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL
- Ingest, process, and analyze telemetry data from applications, infrastructure, and devices
- Implement data models, DAX calculations, and performance tuning in Power BI
- Integrate telemetry sources such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or IoT telemetry streams
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and governance across analytics solutions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define KPIs and monitoring metrics
- Automate data pipelines and reporting workflows where possible
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring using telemetry insights
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, performance optimization)
- Solid experience with Microsoft Azure data and analytics services
- Experience working with telemetry, monitoring, or log data
- Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
- Understanding of cloud data architectures and ETL/ELT patterns
- Experience with REST APIs or streaming data sources is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
