Senior Energy Transition Manager

Denmark, Copenhagen, 2100 Full time

As our decarbonisation agenda moves from planning into large‑scale delivery, we are strengthening the Ocean Business Enablement team with a Senior Energy Transition Manager. This is a senior, hands‑on role at the heart of execution — responsible for ensuring the systemic delivery of Ocean decarbonisation targets across functions, assets, and networks.
This role builds and runs the execution backbone for Ocean decarbonisation: translating long‑term pathways into concrete milestones, clear ownership, and measurable outcomes, while ensuring progress, risks, and trade‑offs are visible and actively managed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operationalise the Ocean decarbonisation roadmap by embedding an execution framework, connecting green fuel budgets, asset and network plans, and functional delivery.
  • Establish and maintain governance, cadence, and performance management structures that enable consistent delivery against the Ocean decarbonisation roadmap and Business Plan emissions targets.
  • Translate long‑term decarbonisation pathways into clear milestones, accountabilities, and integrated delivery plans across relevant functions.
  • Lead cross‑functional alignment around execution plans, managing interdependencies, risks, and opportunities, and supporting sign‑off by accountable leaders.
  • Oversee SBTi Scope 1 delivery within the Business Plan horizon through performance tracking, early issue identification, and transparent communication of progress, constraints, and trade‑offs to senior leadership.
  • Contribute directly where needed — this is a hands‑on, outcome‑focused role accountable for enabling results through strong execution systems, not coordination alone.
About You
  • Senior experience delivering complex, cross‑functional strategic initiatives, ideally within energy transition, decarbonisation, industrial transformation, or large asset‑heavy organisations.
  • Proven ability to design and run operating systems that turn strategy into measurable outcomes.
  • Masters degree or equivalent
  • Experience working across budgets, assets, and operational planning processes.
  • Clear, structured communicator, able to create alignment and accountability across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
