Husqvarna R&D for Robotics Technology and Advanced Development is in an intensive phase and is currently looking for a senior embedded developer with expertise in AI, Machine learning & Computer vision. A robotic lawn mower is a complex autonomous system consisting of software, electronics, and mechanics, offering an exciting opportunity for those driven by technical challenges.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer with expertise in AI, machine learning & Computer Vision, who together with its development team, strengthen our technical capabilities. The work includes improving product performance and efficiency using advanced machine learning and computer vision technologies, and to develop and deploy innovative algorithms to solve complex, high-impact challenges.

You will be part of a team working together to achieve goals, share knowledge and learn from each other. You will see the results of your own work and of the team in the market leading Husqvarna robotic mower products used by customers globally.

About you

We are looking for someone with deep expertise in machine learning and computer vision, who thrives on solving complex problems with analytical precision. You also have a background in:

• C/C++ programming and embedded systems development.
• Knowledge in camera technology as well as experience from perception related technologies, such as semantic segmentation and depth estimation, is a plus.
• You should be comfortable working within technical teams and projects, and able to communicate advanced concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• You also have good skills in both Swedish and English.

Location
Our team is based in Huskvarna, where we strongly believe in the value of working closely together. Some flexibility is possible, but we aim for on‑site presence since collaboration is at the core of how we work.
