AutoStore is the pioneer of robotic cube storage systems and is constantly evolving as a company. We are changing the way goods and services are stored across the globe, pushing boundaries to increase efficiency, enhance safety, and develop innovative products for our customers. Today, our Research & Development Department consists of over 250 employees, spread across our headquarters in Nedre Vats, our location in Oslo, and North America.

We are now hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer to support this mission, someone who not only brings solid technical expertise, but also the capability to lead project-based teams, mentor and guide less experienced engineers, and drive effective planning and collaboration across functions.

Key Tasks and responsibilities 

  • Drive the end-to-end development and execution of designs by identifying, defining, and implementing improvements to workflows, processes, and development practices

  • Drive cross-functional planning and alignment, ensuring effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Electronics field and implement, validate, and optimize solutions across our product portfolio

  • Own technical documentation, deliverables tracking, and project scheduling, ensuring transparency and adherence to milestones

  • Provide strategic oversight and technical guidance for new innovation and sustaining on new and released products, including performance optimization and issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as an Electronics Engineer with design, simulation, and testing of analog and digital electronics, power electronics, motor control / BLDC, bus systems and sensor technology.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Cybernetics/Robotics, Embedded Systems, or a related field

  • Experience with hardware architecture and design, as well as with practical lab work, including test setup, repair, and fault finding

  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with Altium, printed circuit board design, LT-Spice, MATLAB/Simulink, BLDC motor control, SMT32 microcontrollers, cable harness, electromechanical design, DFX methodology, EMC and compliance, and high volume production is a plus.
