Position Summary
1) Mainly responsible for electric controlling system design with automation solutions project to fulfill customers’ demands, in terms of costs, standards, and lead time.
2) Mainly responsible for designing the software to communicate with other system from customer side.
3) Technology Support for CMM controlling system components manufacture, assembly and quality control ,such as controller,Cables
4) Zeiss electric standard development
5) Global project support
Main Tasks
1) Work closely with cross function (Product Sale Management, Application Engineer, Project Management and mechanical design engineering team) team to learn customers’ applications and work out ZEISS automation electric controlling solutions to fulfill customer demands.
2) Deep understanding of customer application and demands, finishing the PLC programming for automation solutions.
3) Convert ZEISS automation solutions into detail specifics requests to sub-contract suppliers, and evaluate the technical standards, quality, cost, and lead time for projects requirements. Give inputs and supports to Purchase team for contract negotiations.
4) Support cross function team to complete final acceptance in customer site.
5) Keep close communication with OKO Product Management team, to build up ZEISS automation technical standards step by step.
6) Support effectively as a dedicated team member in a joint development team including overseas engineers to develop new products for emerging market and European entry level market
7) As one important Hub role in China to support effectively as a dedicated team member in Oberkchen to coordinate the key electric components, such as CMM controller, cables. , and technology support for the quality controlling, manufacture at supplier site, sourcing in China, and cooperate effectively with IMT SH function team.
8) Important local solution suggestion input for the new product design and transfer, or production rampup phase of the development project.
9) Assist to plan and conduct in the depth reviews and help to testing and verifications/validation of product features if necessary.
10) Other duties, as assigned by direct report line.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical and automation engineering and related
Experience
1) 3-5 years of experience in the field of electrical, PLC programming (especially on TIA and Codysys programming environment) and safety control and machine safety in the field of industrial measuring machines and robotics
2) Proven hands-on experience in electrical and automation system integration.
3) Familiar with Electric design software, such as Autocad/Eplan
4) Preferred experience in the design of a complete set of equipment control systems
5) Master the development process of the software Interface based on the Python, C++ ,C# and QML languages
6) Familiar with electrical design standard
7) Proven hands-on experience in using different brands of Robots & AGV like ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, HIK.

4) Good English in reading and speaking
5) Have a certain understanding of mechanical design and assembly, and possess the ability to perform simple mechanical assembly and debugging
