Not RequiredSenior Electrical Engineer with a passion for analog design and aviation sensor products. The candidate will participate in new product development and support of existing products, with responsibilities spanning design, test, qualification, and certification. This role includes troubleshooting complex problems, developing solutions, and communicating outcomes, while collaborating across disciplines and functions within the organization. Understanding of analog circuit theory and instrumentation, low-power signals, and transducers is essential. Familiarity with aerospace design processes and standards such as DO-160 and DO-254 is ideal.
What You Will Do :
Small signal analog and mixed-signal circuit design for new and existing products
Troubleshooting, optimization, and root cause failure analysis of electrical circuit designs, including hands-on testing and experiments
Design optimization for performance, cost, and manufacturability
Definition and management of product requirements across all phases: design, development, integration, testing, verification, validation, and production
Component analysis and obsolescence management
Create and maintain engineering drawings and documentation; manage design change processes
Interface with engineers, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders on engineering projects and products
Support production to improve yield, reduce scrap, and achieve performance metrics
Develop deep technical understanding of assigned product families
Provide technical leadership on complex design projects, serving the electrical engineering community and Engines Value Stream
Provide effort estimations for new hardware pursuits, rework, and redesign activities
Develop and execute electrical engineering standard practices
Proficiency with Allegro and Cadence tools to design schematics, PCBs, Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), and associated drawings
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience in circuit theory, analog and digital design, instrumentation, semiconductor devices, and power supply design (low and high power)
Experience designing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
Experience reviewing and/or writing product specifications and determining design requirements
Experience with requirements management and design verification processes
Qualifications We Prefer:
Design and test experience with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD-461
Experience in analog design, EMI, lightning protection, power supply design, digital communications, qualification testing, and high-power electronics
Proficiency with Allegro and Cadence tools (see Primary Responsibilities)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
