Global Technical Solutions - Production Test Engineering is seeking to fill a Sr Electrical Engineer who will be part of the Common Core TruNet team focused on the development, integration, test, and maintenance of hardware/software. The engineer who fills this position must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both hardware and software. This position will utilize software and hardware skills to debug, repair, and update multi-rack test stations deployed in production. These test stations include but are not limited by the following COTs equipment: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM's, logic analyzers, fiber optic measuring devices, optical measuring devices, power supplies and electronic loads. This position also requires support of ESS and vibration test equipment and software suites.
What You Will Do
Troubleshooting software and hardware for test equipment development
Communicate with team leadership and management on status and risks to program schedule and metrics
Conduct design and peer reviews, identify technical risks, and implement mitigation strategies for complex electrical and system-level challenges
Mentor and develop engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and promoting adoption of best practices across the electrical design discipline
Manage documentation and technical reporting, including requirements, interface control documents, and test plans, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience with Software skills in C++, Python, C# are required
Experience troubleshooting complex Hardware systems
Previous experience supporting automated test stations or systems required
Experience in laboratory testing and troubleshooting electronic hardware using bench power supplies, signal and waveform generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, programming tools, and hardware emulators
Qualifications We Prefer
Contribute to test solution architecture decisions
Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout support, signal integrity analysis, and validation of FPGA-based digital/mixed-signal systems
Experience in Digital CCA Design; Parts selection, Schematic capture, Library management, and Parts Lists creation
Experience with software applications using C, NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or other test software programming languages
Ability to interface ATE test software with laboratory and production tests instrumentation such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and/or direct current power supplies
Experience developing system-level block diagrams and defining hardware architectures, including creation and management of detailed bills of materials (BOMs) for complex electronic assemblies
Knowledge of software Configuration Management environments such as Git/Github/Subversion

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
