Diversity is embedded in everything we do. We work together to create a culture built on respect, trust, and inclusiveness. We embrace flexible working and are always open to discussing what works best for you.

What will you do?

We have an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer – Buildings to join our Perth, WA team.

You’ll lead electrical building services design on major buildings projects—shaping safe, reliable and energy-efficient solutions from concept through to detailed design and construction support. You’ll coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, civil/structural, hydraulics, fire, ICT/AV, security and sustainability), mentor engineers, and engage directly with clients and stakeholders.

A key part of this role is supporting Defence-related projects, where security requirements may apply.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience delivering electrical building services design in Australia across complex buildings (health, resources, commercial, defence or similar).

  • Strong technical capability across LV power distribution, essential/non-essential systems, backup power (generators), UPS, protection/coordination interfaces, earthing, and compliance-driven design.

  • Experience with lighting design (incl. emergency/egress), and coordination of electrical services within constrained building environments.

  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the NCC (e.g., AS/NZS 3000 and associated building services standards/guidelines).

  • Proficiency in common design tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, power/lighting calculation tools such as SKM/ETAP, PowerCAD, AGi32 or similar).

  • Confidence leading packages, undertaking design reviews, managing interfaces, and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status or working toward is highly regarded).

Defence projects: Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance is highly regarded. Australian citizenship (or eligibility for clearance) may be required for some projects.
