In this role, you’ll take the lead on complex electrical design assignments, drive innovation, and influence the performance, reliability, and safety of large power transformer systems. How you’ll make an impact
- Design, analyze, and evaluate power transformer systems, components, and models.
- Develop advanced simulations and apply analytical tools to solve engineering challenges.
- Lead investigations, develop solutions, and present recommendations and reports.
- Support economic studies, specifications, and technical proposals.
- Collaborate with customers to address complex technical topics and define action plans.
- Represent the engineering team in internal and external meetings.
- Drive innovation to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design within the power transformer manufacturing industry.
- Strong theoretical and practical grounding in electrical engineering principles.
- Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D CAD such as Creo is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to work independently when needed.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
