About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to ensure high quality and reliability of applications built on Salesforce Billing platforms and help validate customer journeys on web applications and the overall Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong focus on billing, invoicing, and subscription-based recurring payment plans. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to take ownership and have hands-on experience testing complex business flows, financial transactions, and subscription lifecycle scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Web and Salesforce applications.
Validate end-to-end subscription lifecycle workflows including sign-up, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and suspensions.
Test recurring billing and invoicing scenarios for Monthly and Annual subscription plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing.
Validate payment processing, proration, discounts, and tax calculations.
Ensure accuracy of invoices, credit notes, and billing adjustments.
Test integrations between Salesforce, Web applications, payment gateways, and finance/ERP systems
Work closely with Customer support to process refunds with Process refunds with Payment Gateway
Verify the customer journey on Avid's websites and make sure the design components match the mock-ups
Work with Business stake holders and collaborate with cross functional technical teams to join daily stand-ups, share observations and track activities for better reporting
Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to clarify requirements and improve quality.
Participate in release validation and production support testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer science or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of
Working experience on Digital Licensing platforms is highly preferred
Deep technical proficiency with Billing and CPQ modules, Product Parent and variant architecture, Pricing, Promotions, Invoices and Life cycle Asset management
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, Governor limits, and governance best practices.
Experience with Platform integrations with ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and other external tools is desired
Excellent communication skills to lead the conversations Business owners, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead requirement sessions.
Comfortable working in or overlapping with Eastern Time (New York/AMER) business hours
