Join Intel's Central Engineering Group as a Senior DSP Algorithm Engineer and help pioneer the next generation of software-defined radio technologies. What You'll Do: 

  • Design and develop advanced Digital Signal Processing algorithms in MATLAB for wireless communications and defense applications  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system architects, hardware designers, software engineers, and verification specialists to deliver end-to-end algorithm solutions  

  • Create comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate team collaboration and customer engagement  

  • Partner directly with customers to understand requirements, analyze use cases, and develop tailored solution proposals  

  • Research and implement innovative approaches to complex signal processing challenges  

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and performance validation to ensure market-leading solutions 

 

Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a STEM related field of study  
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DSP algorithm development  
  • Expertise in Digital Signal Processing theory with focus on wireless communications and/or defense systems (e.g. radar, satellite communications, electronic warfare)  
  • Experience in MATLAB for algorithm implementation, simulation, and fixed-point modeling to support hardware/software development teams 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a STEM related field of study  
  • Experience with AI/ML techniques and applications  
  • Hands-on RF laboratory experience with test equipment and measurement systems

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $141,910.00-269,100.00 USD

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
