Key responsibilities include:
Requirements and Process Support: Work directly with finance, controlling, and project stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business processes, requirements, and challenges. Through this collaboration, assist in documenting current processes ("As-Is") and help define future processes ("To-Be") in the context of our SAP S/4HANA global template. This hands-on experience will be foundational to the ability to later support and champion the solution, understanding the "what" and the "why" behind our design decisions.
Master Data Support: Champion the importance of clean and consistent master data. You will work closely with stakeholders to support the design and implementation of master data governance processes and ensure adherence to these processes. By focusing on data quality from the start, you'll help ensure accurate reporting and efficient business operations.
System Configuration and Prototyping: Support internal SAP team with hands-on configuration for key aspects within the FICO and PS modules to support prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and validation of the design with business users.
Solution Validation and Quality Assurance: Actively support and participate in the testing phases (Unit, Integration, UAT) by reviewing and complementing test scenarios and scripts developed by the System Integrator. Support the business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets all documented requirements.
Change Management & Training Support: Collaborate with the Change Management team by providing functional expertise to develop training materials, conduct training sessions, and support users during adoption and go-live.
Reporting line & localisation:
The Global SAP FICO-PS Business Analyst reports to the Global E&C Director SAP Competence Center.
This role is located in Krakow - Poland and may require business trips to various centers of Air Liquide Group.
Are you a MATCH?
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge of key business processes in Finance and Controlling.
Professional experience (5+years), including exposure to business processes and technology projects in an enterprise environment.
Experience with SAP, with some practical exposure to the FICO (Finance and Controlling) and PS (Project System) modules.
A strong understanding of the importance of master data governance and data quality for accurate reporting and efficient business processes.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa. You should be comfortable speaking with both business stakeholders and IT professionals.
A strong desire to learn and grow within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. This is a role for a curious and motivated individual who wants to build deep functional and technical expertise.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with various stakeholders and adapt your communication style to their level of technical understanding.
Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team and contribute to a fast-paced project environment.
Language skills: Fluent English oral & written.
