Senior Director, Strategy

Job Description:

Following the acquisitions of A2i Systems and Eco-Movement, we are expanding our capabilities across AI-powered pricing, EV infrastructure data, and global energy analytics.

We are hiring a Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives to lead integration and transformation across our growing portfolio. This role sits at the centre of our strategy, connecting newly acquired businesses with the broader Dow Jones Energy organisation while shaping how we scale for the future.

You will

• Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Dow Jones Energy ecosystem, aligning data, technology, talent and processes

• Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver revenue synergies, including cross-sell, upsell and new product opportunities

• Establish and track value capture frameworks, ensuring clear KPIs are defined and achieved post acquisition

• Drive the transition to a unified Dow Jones Energy brand, working closely with Marketing on go-to-market strategy, platform consolidation and brand migration

• Build and maintain a scalable integration playbook to support future acquisitions with consistency and speed

• Partner with Corporate Development to assess integration risk and synergy potential during due diligence

• Lead post-acquisition performance tracking, ensuring strategic objectives are delivered within defined timelines

• Influence senior stakeholders across Product, Editorial, Sales and Technology within a complex, global matrix organisation

• Operate as a connector across teams, ensuring alignment between specialised assets and the broader business strategy

You have

• Demonstrated experience leading large scale strategic initiatives, including business transformation or integration programmes

• Experience working in or alongside M&A environments, including integration planning, execution or due diligence

• A strong track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through structured programme management

• The ability to work across global teams and navigate different markets, cultures and operating models

• Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across multiple functions

• A data-led approach, using metrics and milestones to track progress and inform decision making

• Experience building frameworks, playbooks or operating models that can scale across a growing organisation

• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and value creation
