What You'll Be Doing
As the Senior Director, Cloud Engineering within the Cloud Engineering & Transformation team, you will lead the strategy, engineering, and evolution of CIBC’s enterprise cloud platforms. You will play a critical leadership role in accelerating the organization’s cloud transformation by building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments that support application modernization, digital innovation, and enterprise growth. You will oversee engineering teams responsible for designing and delivering foundational cloud capabilities across Azure, including infrastructure automation, container platforms, hybrid connectivity, and enterprise platform services. Working closely with enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, and application teams, you will guide the development of modern platform engineering practices that enable teams across the organization to rapidly and securely build and operate cloud-native solutions. Through strong technical leadership and strategic partnership with senior technology leaders, you will help shape the future of CIBC’s cloud operating model while ensuring platforms meet the high standards of security, reliability, and regulatory compliance required within a global financial institution.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
How You'll Succeed
