Senior Director, Residential Development, Marketing Sales (12 Month Contract)
The Senior Director, Residential Development, Marketing & Sales, is responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving the commercial performance of the Four Seasons Private Residences business.
This role oversees the Americas residential development marketing portfolio and leads a range of global marketing and commercial initiatives that advance the Residential strategic plan, with a focus on driving business growth through expansion of the portfolio and new revenue-generating offerings.
As a senior leader, this role provides leadership and oversight to cross-functional teams, ensuring priorities are clear, workstreams progress effectively, and efforts deliver measurable business impact. The Senior Director also maintains momentum across key initiatives and serves as a central point of coordination across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Americas Development Marketing & Sales
- Provide oversight of the Americas residential development portfolio, ensuring all projects are positioned, marketed, and executed in alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives.
- Lead and support the Director, Residential Development, Marketing & Sales, Americas, setting direction on project strategy, prioritization, and performance.
- Maintain a portfolio-level view across all projects, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for optimization across marketing and sales performance.
- Partner with Development and senior stakeholders during deal pursuit and early-stage planning to shape residential strategy, positioning, and overall project approach.
- Act as a senior escalation point for key projects, supporting decision-making and ensuring alignment between developers and internal stakeholders.
Global Residential Commercial Strategy
- Lead initiatives that expand the Residential business beyond traditional licensing and management fees by scaling sales and marketing services for developers. This includes defining and implementing strategies to monetize buyer referrals and establishing an internally managed sales offering. Lead workstreams with Legal, Technology, Operations, P&C, Marketing, and Development to ensure successful implementation and execution.
- Define and lead the Residential Customer Experience (CX) program from a commercial perspective, establishing a strategy to capture feedback, enhance the resident journey, and translate insights into informed decision-making and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Lead the development and evolution of Resident Recognition and Benefits programming to enhance resident satisfaction, strengthen brand affinity, and reinforce the value proposition to developers. This includes gaining executive buy-in on strategy, piloting new initiatives, and overseeing implementation and global roll-out.
- Oversee global channel strategy and commercial integration for the Residential business, ensuring a cohesive and effective presence across all Four Seasons owned, earned, and paid platforms. Own budget and resource allocation across global marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and effective investment.
Leadership, Team Development & Organizational Impact
- Provide senior leadership on Residential team, developing and mentoring team members, strengthening capabilities and supporting succession planning.
- Lead and align cross-functional Residential support functions, most notably across Commercial and Technology teams, setting clear direction, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Own annual planning and budgeting for the Residential Development, Marketing & Sales function, including defining strategic priorities, allocating resources, managing budgets, and leading performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Represent the Residential business in senior leadership forums, contributing to broader strategic priorities and decision-making.
- Drive alignment across global and regional teams, ensuring consistency while enabling flexibility to meet market-specific needs.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, commercial strategy, or related fields, ideally within luxury real estate, hospitality, or branded residences.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple markets.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategies that drive business growth and commercial impact.
- Experience working with developers, ownership groups, and senior internal stakeholders.
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across levels.
- Highly strategic thinker with strong business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Deep understanding of luxury brand positioning, customer experience, and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and scale high-performing teams.
Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000 CAD
This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
