Truven is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Director, Product Management - Health Analytics and AI to lead the strategic direction, innovation, and growth of its health intelligence portfolio. This executive-level role will oversee product strategy, market positioning, and cross-functional execution for solutions that empower employers, payers, and providers to improve population health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. The Senior Director will serve as a key thought leader, driving enterprise-wide alignment and representing Truven externally in the healthcare analytics space.

How you will contribute

Enterprise Strategy & Vision

  • Define and lead the long-term strategy for Truven’s health analytics portfolio ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market evolution.

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and innovation pathways.

  • Manage investments to achieve financial growth plans for scaled product lines.

Portfolio Leadership

  • Oversee multiple health analytics product lines, including roadmap development, performance tracking, and lifecycle management.

  • Ensure appropriate points of integration for merged/acquired portfolios to deliver cohesive value to customers.

  • Advance deployment of Artificial Intelligence from data quality management through user experience enablement.

  • Build strategic roadmap to harmonize "best in class" data delivery and user experience for each segment.

  • Implement a product maturity model operating framework to assess value delivery of the product lines and target enhancements accordingly.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to align quarterly plans, iterate delivery, and drive execution through Agile delivery.

Executive Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide direction to go-to-market teams (marketing, sales, sales enablement) including value narratives, competitive positioning, and strategic direction.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across product, sales, marketing, and operations to drive strategic initiatives.

  • Present product strategy and performance to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.

Market & Customer Advocacy

  • Serve as a public-facing leader for Truven’s health analytics capabilities, including speaking engagements, customer forums, and industry events.

  • Build deep relationships with strategic customers and partners to inform product direction and co-create solutions.

Team & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performance team of product managers.

  • Foster a culture of winning, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning—reinforced through appropriate ceremonies and rituals that celebrate progress, recognize impact, and build shared momentum.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or analytics, with at least 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles.

  • Proven success in leading large-scale healthcare technology solution portfolios or platforms, e.g. $50M+.

  • Deep expertise in dynamics and challenges of healthcare delivery, data types and constraints, population health, employer-sponsored benefits, and/or payer/provider dynamics.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPH, or related advanced degree preferred.

Compensation


The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

Min – Max :

$210,000.00 - $315,000.00 (USD)
