As Senior Director - Planning & Performance, you will lead the analytical and financial backbone of the Research, Consulting, and Community organization. You will own the planning, modeling, and performance infrastructure that underpins global growth, margin management, and capital allocation decisions. You will be a primary connector to the broader Strategy & Operations vertical and key cross-functional partners including Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Product. You will report to the SVP - Head of Research.
Own the annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range planning (LRP) processes within Research, Consulting & Community
Develop revenue, cost, and margin models aligned to ambitious growth and expansion objectives
Drive forecasting rigor and performance transparency
Lead the standardization of service packaging, pricing architecture, and expansion playbooks within the Research, Consulting & Community organization to support new market entry and repeatable growth
Ensure constant alignment with Sales and Commercial teams as well as broader business unit and corporate strategy
Be the portfolio’s primary analytical interface to Strategy & Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product leadership
Build and manage high-quality, highly visual, real-time dashboards spanning revenue mix, profitability, utilization, pricing realization, and ROI
Implement KPI frameworks in alignment with Sales and Commercial teams
Develop resource allocation, utilization, and backlog forecasting models to ensure operational readiness in support of growth targets
Structure rigorous business cases for new service launches, geographic expansion, and capability investments
Conduct scenario modeling to inform capital allocation decision
At least 15 years’ experience in strategy, FP&A, consulting, or business operations roles within B2B information services, commodities, or advisory businesses
Demonstrated experience leading planning, FP&A, strategy, or business operations functions within global, matrixed organizations
Strong financial acumen including P&L literacy, forecasting, pricing strategy, capacity planning, and margin
Advanced financial modeling capability and strong commercial acumen
Proven ability to partner effectively across Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Product to align financial discipline with commercial ambition
Experience supporting P&L leaders in high-growth, performance-driven environments
Ability to translate complex market and operational dynamics into decision-grade insight for senior executives
Readiness, desire, and ability to extend into direct management of enablement teams
MBA or Graduate degree in another business discipline (preferred) -OR- equivalent work experience

Base Pay Range: $185,000 - $230,000
