We are seeking to hire a Partner Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of embedded payments partnerships and cultivate new technology alliances.
Our Technology Partnership team plays a pivotal role in establishing and deepening strategic relationships with leading Technology Platforms, ISVs, and the Developer community. By forging these alliances, we advance Elavon's strategy of seamlessly integrating payment acceptance into the wider ecosystem, ensuring we meet the evolving multi-channel needs of our merchants both now and in the future.

While deep technical expertise is not a requirement, a strong understanding of how integrations with major technology platforms drive value in the payments ecosystem will be highly beneficial. You will work closely with our expert Technical Consultants to deliver impactful solutions for our partners.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be accountable for sourcing, onboarding, and nurturing tier 1 embedded payments partnerships, as well as maximizing value from our existing partnerships.
Core responsibilities will include:
· Identifying and engaging new tier 1 embedded payments partners within our core industry verticals
· Applying a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach to qualify and develop partner opportunities
· Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of high-potential embedded payments partnership prospects
· Leveraging analytical insights and a collaborative mindset to fully realize the revenue potential of each strategic partner relationship
· Leading complex commercial negotiations to get the best mutual outcome, balancing the needs of Elavon, our partners and merchants
· Maintaining a high awareness and knowledge of the payment market, card payment industry, competitors and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and closed appropriately
· Achieving agreed annual, quarterly, and monthly sales objectives
Required Skills & Competencies
Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to structure deals and drive revenue through partnerships.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with payment technologies, APIs, and integration processes.
Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute multi-year partnership strategies.
Agility & Innovation: Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or payments industry.
Experience with embedded finance or payment solutions is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically eight to 10 years of relevant experience

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
