Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Sales will lead revenue growth and market expansion for Display solutions across the Restaurant, Retail, Sports, and Entertainment verticals.  This role is responsible for setting and executing vertical specific sales strategies, building executive-level customer relationships, and driving consultative, solution-based selling that positions Samsung as the market leader in commercial Display innovation.  The leader will oversee cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, operations, and channel teams to deliver scalable, high-impact display solutions that accelerate market share, profitability, and long-term strategic partnerships.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a higher-performing team of Sales Directors and Account Executives focused on Restaurant, Retail, Sports and Entertainment verticals.
  • Establish annual sales targets and define go-to-market strategies to ensure quarterly revenue targets are exceeded and foundation is being laid for long-term three-to-five-year growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships within strategic accounts.     
  • Lead complex, enterprise-level deal negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success) to enable seamless customer experiences, provide voice of customer, and maximize revenue opportunities. 
  • Serve as the voice of customer to influence product roadmap, solution bundling, and service offerings aligned to vertical-specific requirements. 
  • Own pipeline development, forecasting, and reporting while overseeing adoption and effective use of Salesforce.com and sales tools ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on team’s performance, pipeline contribution and operational metrics.
  • Represent Samsung at industry events and executive forums to strengthen brand leadership and strategic positioning. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • +15 years of sales experience with demonstrable growth, and demonstrated leadership.
  • Possess business acumen and strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills; ability to translate KPIs and results into actionable insights and initiatives to drive top/bottom line growth.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 50% of the time).
  • Outstanding leader and team player with strong cross-functional collaboration skills; proven record for motivating and coaching a team.
  • Driven and results-oriented; acts with a sense of urgency without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision-makers and align stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
  • Project management experience; ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • High-level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic and proactive organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of building client relationships at executive levels.
  • Understanding of solution selling – specifically around Display products and solutions.

The salary range for this remote role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.  However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:

  • California: $230,000 to $284,000 
  • Colorado: $201,000 to $248,500
  • Illinois: $201,000 to $248,500
  • Massachusetts: $210,500 to $260,500
  • Minnesota: $201,000 to $248,500
  • New Jersey: $230,000 to $284,000 
  • New York: $230,000 to $284,000 
  • Vermont: $182,000 to $225,000
  • Washington State: $220,500 to $272,000
