Senior Director of Product Management

As Senior Director of Product Management and Avast Suite Lead you will own the overall Avast proposition and end-to-end customer journey for the entire Avast portfolio—bringing together our category-leading products into a coherent, high-value suite experience. You will define the multi-year suite vision, translate it into actionable strategies, and deliver measurable impact on acquisition, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value. 

You’ll directly lead two Senior Product Managers—one focused on discovery and engagement from the customer perspective, and one focused on the growth customer journey and commercial proposition—while influencing a broader cross-functional team across Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Avast Suite Strategy & Vision 

  • Define and own the Avast Suite long-term product vision, positioning, and differentiation—making the combined portfolio feel like one coherent, intelligent experience rather than a collection of point products. 

  • Shape and evolve the suite proposition, packaging, and pricing across customer segments and markets, balancing near-term revenue with long-term brand and customer value. 

  • Identify and prioritize the most impactful customer problems across security, privacy, and identity and solve them through integrated, cross-category experiences. 

Customer Journey & Experience Ownership 

  • Own the end-to-end Avast customer journey—from discovery and evaluation, to onboarding, activation, engagement, cross-sell, and renewal—across desktop, mobile, and web. 

  • Partner with Design, Research, and Data Science to deeply understand customer needs and behaviors, turning insights into differentiated suite experiences that are simple, trusted, and engaging. 

  • Ensure the Avast Suite delivers a consistent, privacy-first experience across all touchpoints, with clear value communication and minimal friction. 

Leadership of the Product Team 

  • Directly manage and coach two Product Managers: 

  • Discovery & Engagement PM focused on how customers find, understand, and adopt Avast solutions, and how they experience ongoing value. 

  • Growth Journey & Proposition PM focused on monetization flows, lifecycle journeys, packaging, pricing tests, and commercial optimization. 

  • Raise the bar on product craft, experimentation, and outcome-driven roadmapping within the team; mentor PMs to think at portfolio/suite level, not just at feature level. 

Growth, Commercial Outcomes & Operations 

  • Own and drive key business outcomes for the Avast Suite, including adoption, engagement, retention, ARPU, and CLTV. 

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Lifecycle Marketing to develop clear value propositions, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for suite offerings. 

  • Drive operational excellence through robust experimentation, measurement frameworks, and regular business reviews—ensuring the team is focused on the highest-impact opportunities. 

Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership 

  • Act as the primary product leader for Avast Suite within a global matrix organization, driving alignment across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Support, and regional teams. 

  • Communicate strategy, roadmap, and results to senior and executive stakeholders; influence decisions using clear narratives backed by data and customer insights. 

  • Stay ahead of market trends in cybersecurity, utilities, privacy, and AI-powered consumer experiences to anticipate shifts and shape the future direction of the Avast portfolio. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 10+ years in product management within a global, technology-driven organization, ideally in consumer SaaS or software. 

  • 5+ years in senior product leadership roles (e.g., Director/Senior Director), with direct people management responsibility and proven success leading other Product Managers. 

  • Proven track record of delivering meaningful business outcomes—ideally material revenue, user, or engagement growth—through technology products at scale. 

  • Absolute obsession with understanding and serving customer needs—you are relentless about customer insight, value delivery, and using those insights to shape roadmap and strategy. 

  • Demonstrated success owning end-to-end customer journeys and portfolio/suite-level products, not just single features—ideally across multiple platforms and touchpoints. 

  • Experience building or leading AI-powered, agentic, or on-device intelligent experiences, or products emphasizing privacy-first, client-side technologies 

  • Strong track record in growth and monetization: lifecycle journeys, packaging, pricing, experimentation, and optimization of commercial outcomes. 

  • Proven ability to operate and deliver results in a complex, matrixed, global environment—driving clarity, alignment, and accountability across functions. 

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and influencing skills—able to engage both executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams. 

  • A data-driven mindset with strong business acumen—comfortable switching between strategic thinking and hands-on execution when needed.
