Location
While our company operates exclusively on a remote basis, you must reside and have the legal right to work in one of the following countries: the United Kingdom, Latvia, or Spain.
This is a full-time, remote position. Please note that we do not engage on a B2B or contractor basis.

About
We're looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to lead the next stage of marketing performance and commercial impact.
The role will oversee demand generation, brand, content and digital growth, with accountability for revenue contribution, competitive positioning, and marketing system efficiency.
Outcomes that you will drive
- Category authority: Establishes Lokalise as the leading language platform. Builds a stand-out market reputation that creates a competitive "moat" based on value created for customers, trust and innovation.
- High engagement with and expansion of existing customers: Engages with customers so we expand our services to them and make them true ambassadors of Lokalise
- New biz pipeline: Creates a predictable, scalable flow of high-quality pipeline that supports the sales organization's success with new logos.
- Operational efficiency: Builds a highly efficient organization with a lean & high-performing team which scales. Delivers high quality growth with an efficiently deployed investment for short and long term success. AI is obviously a critical component to scale.

The scope you own to drive impact
1. Market positioning, brand, thought leadership and high-impact content
- Clear positioning as category stand-out: Establish Lokalise as the undisputed leader in “language platform” category (to start with). Position Lokalise as the modern, no-brainer platform for companies which are currently generating significant value for customers in the long run. Articulates a clear ICP, positioning and messaging to the market.
- Establish market authority and engage customers & prospects with thought leadership and high-impact content: Create an engaging, high-authority content engine that builds and captures high-intent traffic and engages our customers to expand with Lokalise
- Brand identity: Lead the brand with high standards across all touch points. Our brand needs to stand out for corporate & enterprise customers and resonate with CPOs, CTOs, CMOs and AI / growth leaders.
- Global communications: Drive executive thought leadership, public relations, and analyst relations to maximize SOV and brand impact.
2. Engine to drive demand and revenue growth, with a focus on mid-market to large enterprises
- Optimize a multi-channel engine to drive predictable, high-quality pipeline and to accelerate expansion opportunities with our customers. Partner with the Sales team to execute targeted, high-touch campaigns for strategic enterprise accounts. The multi-channels include: scalable demand generation & ABM, lifecycle marketing, events, product launches, website
- Constantly optimize resources across initiatives to focus on high ROI; compete based on economic return, competitive advantage and revenue density.
- Marketing operations: Build automated targeting, personalization, and optimization engines that improve precision at scale. Own the marketing technology stack and data attribution models to ensure visibility into CAC payback and funnel efficiency.
3. Organizational leadership
- Establish marketing as a lean, high-output, performance-driven function with clear commercial accountability
- Anchor our marketing engine on AI capabilities to automate existing workflows & augment the impact of the team. Redesign to AI-native where relevant and impactful
- Set and enforce data-driven decision making and standards across all marketing activities.
- Align team objectives directly to revenue impact, acquisition efficiency, and competitive outcomes.
- Build operating discipline that prioritizes output, precision, and economic return over activity volume.
What We're Looking For
You are a marketing leader who has operated at high commercial standards and pace, and is ready to apply that capability at greater scale and consequence.
In your previous roles, you have successfully:
- Owned revenue performance or acquisition economics within a scaling B2B SaaS company in Europe / US. You think in terms of market share, revenue density, and competitive advantage. Campaign metrics are secondary signals
- Successfully leveraged AI as an anchor to augment impact, compress experimentation cycles, and improve targeting precision.
- Delivered measurable improvement in driving customer conversion, win rates, or customer acquisition cost.
- Built or materially redesigned a marketing operating model; not simply managed campaigns within one.
- Operated across both product-led and enterprise sales environments.
- Worked with technically sophisticated buyers and complex commercial cycles.
