The Senior Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in aligning teams around business priorities, providing actionable financial insights, and ensuring resources are deployed effectively for sustainable growth. This is a highly cross-functional and execution-oriented leadership role at the heart of Aspire’s next stage of scale.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Drive company-wide alignment on financial targets and priorities, ensuring decisions are grounded in data and clear ROI.
  • Own Board communications, including financial materials and participation in high-level strategic discussions.
  • Provide financial analysis and diligence for strategic initiatives, partnerships, and growth investments.
Cross-Functional Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner across all major business areas, connecting Finance with operational execution, customer impact, and growth objectives.

  • Partner across go-to-market, product, and customer functions to improve visibility into performance, retention, and revenue predictability.
  • Own company-wide revenue and operational forecasting, incorporating SaaS metrics and activity-level performance data (e.g., pipeline activity, product usage, client delivery metrics) to link daily execution with financial outcomes.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Operations
  • Own the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts in partnership with business leaders, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Oversee working capital management and cash flow forecasting to maintain financial visibility and discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, maintaining accuracy and integrity across all reporting.
Financial Reporting, Metrics, Insights & Business Impact
  • Build scalable systems and reporting frameworks that deliver clear visibility into budgets, forecasts, and key financial indicators.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights that guide prioritization, trade-offs, and strategic decisions.
  • Act as a communication hub, equipping teams with the financial visibility they need to make effective decisions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess company health, efficiency, and growth drivers.
  • Maintain awareness of key performance trends and market dynamics influencing business results.
  • Use data-driven insights to connect operational activity to financial outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, including ownership of Finance and Financial Operations.
  • Proven success in high-growth SaaS or technology environments, ideally through rapid scale or new-market expansion.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and operational performance drivers.
  • Expert-level financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of fundamental Accounting concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in fundraising and investor relations preferred.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce a plus; advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills required.
