Job Description Summary
Heartbeat is GE HealthCare’s proprietary business system—our standard way of working together to deliver on our commitments to people, patients and customers. Our vision is to accelerate innovation as part of GE HealthCare’s heartbeat, empowering every team to continuously improve, solve challenges, and create meaningful outcomes for patients and customers. The Innovation Management System (IMS) leads this transformation by defining, developing, deploying, and strengthening the processes that power our Innovation Roadmap. We unlock the full capability of GE HealthCare by identifying the best ways of working across the enterprise and elevating them into adaptable standards that drive lasting impact.
As the enterprise leader for the New Product Introduction (NPI) Management System, you will define, deploy, and continuously improve the late-stage innovation operating model for GE HealthCare, covering Product Concept (phase M0) through Full Product release at volume (M4). This role owns the systems, processes, governance, and performance mechanisms that ensure disciplined, predictable, and high-impact delivery of NPIs to market, aligned with GE HealthCare’s Innovation roadmap, Heartbeat business system, and Phase Review Discipline (PRD).
You will partner with and influence across GE HealthCare to institutionalize best-in-class NPI execution across hardware, software, digital, and platform-based products. This includes advancing Lighthouse NPIs and scaling Digital Beacon Products and NPIs as exemplars of speed, quality, and customer impact.

- Collaborate with IMS, R&D, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Services to ensure cross-functional alignment and seamless execution throughout the NPI lifecycle.
- Drive enterprise change management to ensure adoption of NPI practices, build organizational capability, and enable continuous improvement.
- Apply Lean principles, including standard work, flow, built-in quality, visual management, and problem-solving, to elevate NPI execution and reduce waste and cycle time.
- Continuously benchmark and integrate best practices from leading MedTech companies to strengthen NPI performance and maintain competitive advantage.
