Overview:
As the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across both offline and online channels to drive growth and revenue for The Orchard’s label and artist clients in domestic and international markets.
You will be a key member of the core leadership team, responsible for the strategic development of music releases, artist management, artist and label branding, content creation, business development, and overall market positioning.
What you'll do:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Define and execute partnership and go-to-market strategies with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Sales teams to drive business growth, sharing insights and innovative case studies.
- Monitor and benchmark partner and deal performance, providing creative solutions to help partners adapt to the evolving digital music landscape.
- Coordinate internal communication, data analysis, and financial modeling to ensure effective information flow and informed strategic decision-making.
- Allocate marketing resources efficiently to achieve business objectives and market share growth.
Creative Campaign Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of innovative digital, brand, and content marketing campaigns tailored to each artist and project.
- Oversee multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistent audience engagement and brand growth.
- Expand artist visibility by leveraging new and existing promotional channels and platforms.
Data-Driven Marketing:
- Utilize analytics and performance data to guide campaign strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Collect, analyze, and report data from DSPs and other digital platforms including internal data tools to generate actionable insights.
- Conduct post-campaign evaluations to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Reporting and Strategic Operations:
- Manage regular sales and revenue reporting, analyzing performance to support strategic decisions.
- Continuously assess and optimize the use of creative and marketing resources to maximize ROI.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of proven success in music or entertainment marketing, preferably within a global or digital-focused organization.
- Deep understanding of both music and brand marketing ecosystems.
- Experience working with brand partnerships and Digital Streaming Platforms (DSPs) is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in marketing strategy, consumer insights, analytics, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in P&L management and effective budget allocation.
- Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly proficient in creating professional presentation decks and marketing materials, with a strong sense of visual storytelling and brand alignment.
