We’re looking for a bold, forward-thinking Senior Director, Manufacturing Leader, who thrives on building strong teams and delivering results. You’ll lead both established lines and new scale-ups with a continuous improvement mindset. Reporting to the Plant General Manager, you’ll be a key driver of innovation and performance on the site leadership team.
How you’ll make an impact:
Direct team members and manufacturing activities with overall responsibility of developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods through several department managers.
Instill a manufacturing culture, engage staff morale, and ensure employees' safety.
Develop a robust talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the manufacturing organization.
Collaborate with network leadership to develop operational strategy. Partner with cross-functional groups/resources to achieve tactical execution of business objectives.
Oversee the implementation of multiple strategic manufacturing project portfolios activities (e.g., Lean initiatives and plant projects) including prioritizing and selecting appropriate projects. Lead in identifying risk, developing complex mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional groups.
Collaborate and align with other plant leadership in driving standardized and optimized manufacturing operations programs.
Responsible for meeting operational performance and strategic objectives (e.g., finance, absorption, manufacturing cost, quality, safety, environmental compliance, MPS targets, capacity).
Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on Lean and Six Sigma principles and EW Production System (EPS).
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence in a manufacturing related industry.
Onsite required.

Lean certification.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Deep expertise in manufacturing systems, processes, and financial acumen.
Strong track record of leading large-scale projects, cross-functional initiatives.
Leads through transformation with resilience and clarity; drives adoption of new processes and systems.
Builds, mentors, and retains high-performing teams; fosters a culture of accountability and engagement.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, coach senior leaders, and manage organizational change.
Experience developing and leveraging KPIs to align operations with strategic business goals.
Skilled in executive-level communication and stakeholder influence.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $187,000 to $265,000 (highly experienced).
