Given the collaborative and complex nature of this work, this is an in-person position based full-time in Irvine, CA.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and implement integration strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and our deal team to design integration strategies aligned with the transaction's strategic rationale and drive value creation.
  • Lead integration execution: Oversee the execution of integration plans, coordinate teams, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timeline and budget alignment.
  • Establish governance and reporting: Define and implement robust governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, track synergy realization, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Champion change management and cultural integration: Guide the organization through transformative change, foster cultural alignment, communicate effectively, and ensure successful employee transitions.
  • Manage risks and issues: Identify potential risks and challenges to integration, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate timely escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Develop and refine integration playbooks: Capture lessons learned and best practices to enhance Edwards’ M&A integration capabilities and playbooks. 
  • Perform other duties as needed to support successful integrations.

What you'll need (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 14 years of experience or
  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 12 years of experience
  • Other: Certification in related field Preferred

What else you'll need (Preferred)

  • Ability to inspire, influence, and lead diverse cross-functional teams, motivate stakeholders, and manage complex projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a results-oriented approach – able to identify key synergies, develop value-focused strategies, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders; effective communicator across functions and cultures.
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, P&L management, budget management, and synergy tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational dynamics, manage resistance to change, and ensure smooth employee transitions during integration.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, recognize and mitigate risks, and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert knowledge of business strategy, competitive landscape and regulatory environment, with a broad-based understanding of industry trends and company strategic goals
  • Capability to balance strategic objectives with critical tactical details that impact integration success.
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $209,000 to $296,000 (highly experienced).
