Ibotta is seeking a Senior Director of Integrated & Lifecycle Marketing to own the full consumer journey from the moment someone downloads the app to becoming a deeply loyal Saver. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role where you'll shape how millions of price-conscious shoppers engage with Ibotta every day.
You'll lead the strategy behind our biggest tentpole campaigns, build the lifecycle engine that drives retention and CLV, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and our brand partners to push what's possible. This role demands equal parts creative vision and analytical rigor.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:
Integrated Campaigns & Client Activation
Define and execute the strategy for major tentpole moments (Black Friday, Thanksgiving, seasonal peaks), turning cash back offers into must-engage experiences for Savers
Lead complex co-branded activations with brand partners, seamlessly weaving their promotions into our owned channels while maximizing value for consumers
Own all owned marketing channels:Email, Push, In-App, and Web, with a channel-specific approach to reach, deliverability, and engagement
Oversee creative development end-to-end, ensuring every campaign is compelling, brand-right, and rooted in Ibotta's unique value proposition
Lifecycle, Retention & Personalization
Own our consumer lifecycle strategy across activation, engagement, retention, loyalty, and win-back through incentive and organic strategies
Design and optimize automated, multi-channel user journeys in Braze, personalizing content and offers using rich behavioral data
Build sophisticated segmentation models in partnership with marketing analytics to deliver the right message at the right moment
Testing, Roadmap & Marketing Ops
Run a high-velocity experimentation engine: rigorous A/B testing across all channels and lifecycle stages, with results that actually get operationalized
Partner with Product and Engineering to define the marketing technology roadmap while advocating for the features, data, and tooling needed to deliver next-generation personalization
Oversee marketing operations: MarTech stack health, data integrity, privacy/opt-out compliance, and campaign execution efficiency
Define and report on KPIs that matter: LTV, retention, engagement, channel performance while using Looker to turn data into executive-level strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that holds itself accountable and keeps raising the bar

What we are looking for:
10+ years in consumer-facing digital marketing, with deep expertise in lifecycle, channel management, and retention for an app or D2C/eCommerce platform
Proven track record building and scaling highly personalized, automated marketing programs in Braze (or comparable platform)
Experience leading major tentpole or promotional campaigns that move real volume
Background managing co-branded marketing with large CPG, retail, or eCommerce partners
Proven analytical experience leveraging Looker, defining metrics, and translating complex data into business strategy
Experience collaborating on product roadmaps and advocating for marketing within an engineering-driven org
A reputation for building great teams and making the people around you better
Experience in a rewards, loyalty, or consumer platform preferred
Deep fluency in incremental lift measurement and CPG/Retail Media performance metrics preferred
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $175,000 - $200,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
