Job Title:   Senior Director, Insights & Analytics - Therapeutic Dermatology

Location:   Boston

Description

The Senior Director, Insights & Analytics – Therapeutic Dermatology is responsible and accountable to lead all commercial Insights & Analytics initiatives for the US Rx business unit.  This position is responsible for coordinating several functions in support of the BU, including forecasting, data analytics, and performance reporting.  The Senior Director will lead a team, including Insights & Analytics and Forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of analytics frameworks to support the Rx BU’s commercial strategy, including demand modeling, KPI tracking, and market assessments.

  • Oversee forecasting methodologies and scenario planning to inform launch sequencing, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to deliver actionable insights that drive brand performance.

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Associate Directors in Analytics and Forecasting, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives for senior leadership and global stakeholders.

  • Contribute to strategic planning cycles (L-12 to L+18) and launch readiness reviews, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities.

  • Lead planning and execution for Analytics and Insights support of the Rx business unit initiatives, including upcoming launches and commercial expansions.

  • Drive collaboration among key functions within Commercial Excellence (Market Research, Competitive Intell, Sales Ops, I&C, Data Mgmt) in support of unified, streamlined business intelligence for the BU.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 12+ years of experience in Life Sciences insights, analytics, or forecasting.

  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional analytics teams and delivering strategic impact.

  • Deep understanding of the US pharma market, preferably with experience Immunology or Dermatology.

  • Experience with the distinct market data considerations of the Rx market, including internal (hub) and external (audit) data sources.

  • Strong proficiency in data visualization, modeling tools, and CRM/BI platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • Demonstrated high resilience and agility as well as a keen analytical mindset, curiosity, and ability to proactively anticipate points of confusion.

  • Proven experience communicating complex analyses in a simple and clear manner.

  • Superb verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strategic and innovative thinker with a proven ability to build relationships with key internal leaders to achieve consensus or negotiate through complex challenges.

  • Excellent executive presence with superb written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly analytical with attention to detail and demonstrated ability to act decisively in the absence of complete information and be comfortable with appropriate risk.

  • Proven ability to provide leadership in a team based on a matrix environment without direct authority and through influence and expertise.

  • Proven track record of effective vendor management and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and often changing environment.

  • Track record of creating scalable process improvements.

  • Ability to travel (~15% of time) to regional and national meetings.

Position is commensurate with experience.

About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $230,000  - $280,000.

In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
