Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director II, Customer Marketing & Growth Strategy serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Strategic Partnerships & On-Premise (SPOP) organization. This executive is a transformative marketing leader and strategic thought partner - responsible for shaping the marketing vision for some of Coca-Cola’s largest, most influential customers across the foodservice and on‑premise landscape.

Acting as the senior-most marketing voice to these customers, this leader deeply navigates customer ecosystems, unlocks enterprise value, and drives marketing and commercial strategies that deliver measurable growth. As a key member of the SPOP Leadership Team, the Senior Director collaborates closely with Sales, Commercial, North America Marketing, and the broader FSOP Marketing Leadership Team to build and execute a shared strategy that strengthens customer partnerships, accelerates value creation, and advances Coca-Cola’s leadership position in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & CMO Influence

  • Lead, inspire, and empower a high-performing team of Customer Marketers responsible for setting the marketing vision, brand presence, and commercial agenda across all SPOP customers and channels.
  • Serve as the senior-most face of Coca-Cola marketing to customers, especially at the C-suite level, cultivating strategic partnerships, influencing joint business planning, and driving marketing negotiations at the highest levels.
  • Negotiate marketing investments and partnership frameworks, internally and externally at the executive level, to maximize Coca-Cola’s presence, efficiency, ROI, and impact.
  • Provide visionary leadership and subject matter expertise on emerging market trends, digital transformation, and next-generation consumer engagement across the system.
  • Lead, shape, and commercialize the SPOP value story across the Coca-Cola system—including FSOP, Retail, Brand, Digital, and Bottlers—to fully unlock the value of the assets to the system.
  • Own and lead internal business planning processes, ensuring alignment of cross-functional partners, resources, and priorities.
  • Translate enterprise-level strategies and calendarized events (GOAT) into actionable operating plans across the SPOP portfolio.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner cross-functionally across NAOU to solve complex customer and channel challenges, bringing insight-driven marketing expertise to grow the business, elevate brand value, and attract/retain consumers.
  • Provide leadership voice across the organization to offer a Strategic Partnerships & On-Premise (SPOP) lens to strategic planning, resource allocation, and customer insights.
  • Scale learnings, best practices, and innovation across the broader system to drive enterprise-wide impact.

Organizational Development

  • Develop, inspire, and advance a diverse, high-performing team, foster a culture of trust, curiosity, innovation, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Own all people leadership processes, including annual objectives, talent development, succession planning, and ongoing performance management.
  • Ensure organization effectively manages all resources and delivers key financial goals on budget (T&E, DME, Agency, and MAM).
  • Serve as a catalyst for engagement across both direct reports and the broader SPOP organization, strengthening culture and organizational engagement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within foodservice, retail, entertainment, marketing assets, beverage, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders and senior customers.
  • Expertise in customer marketing, brand strategy, assets, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to develop and lead business planning processes, integrating strategic initiatives, multi-year plans, and commercial objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in building, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex market or customer based strategies into simple, achievable, team tactics and initiatives
  • Must LOVE and appreciate customer interaction, convention participation, industry events, and summits
  • General Management Mindset

Pay Range:

$218,800 - $247,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
