Position Title: Senior Director I, RGM Data Science & Engineering (R-131465)
Primary Job Location: (USA) Applicants must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Travel: Up to 25% travel with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.

As Senior Director, RGM Data Science & Engineering, you will lead a small, agile team recognized for delivering scalable data and AI solutions. This role blends strategic leadership with technical expertise—you will guide vision and priorities while remaining hands-on when needed to ensure successful execution.

What You’ll Do for Us    

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy & Engineering:

  • Shape and evolve our data strategy, including architecture, and long-term roadmap. 

  • Oversee deployment and maintenance of production-grade data pipelines within Azure (Databricks, AzureML, Synapse). 

  • Manage partnerships with internal service teams to augment resources and capabilities. 

2. Analytics Leadership:  

  • Serve as the primary expert in Data Science and Engineering, providing guidance on feasibility, resource allocation, and prioritization. 

  • Design and deploy scalable ML models that include forecasting and optimization 

  • Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and integrate them into our solutions. 

3. Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment:

  • Collaborate closely with the broader RGM team to identify pricing and promotion gaps and deliver analytical solutions that drive growth. 

  • Ensure team objectives align with business priorities and long-term strategy. 

  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, consultative manner to senior business stakeholders. 

4. Leadership & Talent Development:

  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. 

  • Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution when needed. 

What You’ll Need 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience leading production data pipeline deployment within Azure ecosystem. 

  • Deep expertise in machine learning and AI, with a track record of deploying models at scale. 

  • Strong consultative communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects through both technical and business dimensions. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale optimization tools (e.g., Gurobi). 

  • Graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

Pay Range:

$195,500 - $226,800

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
