HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Senior Director, FP&A is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial performance, decision support, and long-range planning across the marketing and merchandising organizations within a fast-paced multi-channel apparel environment. This role partners closely with senior marketing, merchandising, and executive leaders to optimize investments, enhance profitability, and ensure strong financial stewardship in a highly competitive consumer landscape. The ideal candidate brings deep retail FP&A expertise, strong business partnership skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence strategy and operational execution.

This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance, has 3 direct reports with a total team of 5 and is based in our Buckhead office.

30%: Merchandising FP&A & Decision Support

  • Lead the financial target setting by brand in conjunction with merchandising and consumer insights teams and partner with retail, wholesale, and supply chain teams
  • Build models and frameworks that evaluate product assortment decisions, product make investments, and gross margin outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional product costing analysis in conjunction with our go-to-market process
  • Conduct recurring financial updates with licensees and onboard additional licenses 
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis on brand performance 
  • Complete business cases for new initiatives as needed

30%: Marketing FP&A & Decision Support

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for the Marketing teams 
  • Partner with Marketing team on financial models to forecast sales, traffic, customer acquisition, retention, and marketing ROI
  • Determine and align on quarterly, monthly and weekly KPIs in conjunction with Retail FP&A team
  • Implement tools, dashboards, and KPIs that improve visibility into investment performance and operational execution

10%: Reporting & Performance Management

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly results reporting, variance analysis, executive presentations, and performance reviews to support Monthly Business Review meetings, earnings call preparation and Board materials
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and clarity of financial reporting to senior leadership and the board

30%: Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team that supports both centralized and business-unit finance needs
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, proactive problem solving, and strong business partnership
  • Collaborate with broader finance teams (Retail FP&A, Wholesale FP&A, Corporate FP&A, Accounting, Investor Relations) to ensure alignment on financial processes and strategic initiatives

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience
  • Deep understanding of marketing analytics, merchandising financials, gross margin drivers, inventory dynamics, and retail KPIs
  • Proven experience partnering with senior executives and influencing cross-functional decisions
  • Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to simplify and articulate complex insights
  • Intellectually curious; strong interest in understanding our various business models and channels
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in managing high performance teams; strong orientation to development and mentoring
  • Retail and/or wholesale industry experience preferred
