Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Serve as a Finance Business Partner (FBP) to the President and leadership team.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Provide strategic insights and realistic assessments of risks and opportunities.
  • Support business strategy development and execution to drive profitable growth.

Financial Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee timely and accurate financial closing and reporting in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, and ethics & compliance standards.
  • Manage statutory reporting, tax filings, FX transactions, and external audits.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to foster a strong E&C culture.

Cash & Asset Management

  • Provide cash flow forecasts and asset management analysis.
  • Review and manage bank accounts, credit facilities, insurance policies, and FX hedging.
  • Drive cash collection activities and review customer credit policies.

Governance & Audit

  • Lead operational and cross-functional audits across branches and operations.
  • Facilitate monthly Controls & Compliance Council meetings.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requirements.

People & Culture

  • Promote an inclusive and engaging work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop successors within the finance team.

Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA / CA certification is required.

Experience

  • 15–20 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in multinational environments, preferably with SEC-registered or NYSE/NASDAQ-listed companies.
  • Experience integrating financial platforms and leading high-performance teams.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, India GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Expertise in SOX compliance, taxation, corporate finance, and FX risk management.
  • Strategic leadership with hands-on operational capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor and build future leadership within the finance function.
