The Opportunity
"As Senior Director of Cyber Security Architecture, you will define and execute the enterprise-wide security architecture strategy for all of FICO's security operations across multiple management teams. This is a highly strategic role responsible for establishing the architectural vision, principles, and standards that govern security across the entire organization. As a leader of leaders, you will guide and develop management teams while driving the evolution to next-generation security architecture and building organizational capability to think architecturally about complex security challenges and emerging threats." - VP, Cyber Security
What You'll Contribute
Define a comprehensive security architecture vision and roadmap across all FICO security domains, including cloud and on-premises environments.
Lead and mentor management teams, developing their strategic thinking and architectural leadership capabilities.
Partner closely with software engineering teams and internal stakeholders to integrate security architecture throughout the development lifecycle.
Establish security architecture principles, standards, and decision frameworks that guide all security initiatives enterprise-wide.
Drive organizational evolution from tactical security operations to strategic architectural thinking and planning.
Design unified architectural frameworks and optimize security architecture patterns for enhanced effectiveness and efficiency.
Architect the integration of AI and automation technologies within the broader security architecture framework to enhance security outcomes.
Serve as the strategic security architecture voice to executive leadership, translating business objectives into architectural decisions.
Elevate security professionals to think architecturally, developing strategic decision-making capabilities across security domains.
Ensure security architecture aligns with and enhances overall enterprise architecture and business strategy.
What We're Seeking
15+ years in enterprise security architecture with a proven track record of defining organization-wide architectural strategy.
Deep experience with cloud security architecture across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Demonstrated success leading management teams and developing other leaders in complex technical organizations.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering teams and embed security architecture in development processes.
Understanding of how to strategically integrate AI and automation technologies within enterprise security architecture.
Demonstrated success in transforming organizational culture and mindset within technical security teams.
History of successfully redesigning and consolidating security architecture across large, complex organizations.
Demonstrated ability to present architectural strategies and decisions to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
Proven capability to create long-term architectural roadmaps that align with business strategy and drive organizational transformation.
Strong technical background enabling credible architectural leadership of modern security infrastructure and DevSecOps integration.
Experience developing architectural thinking and strategic capabilities across multiple security teams.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $186,000 to $292,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
