Job Summary

The Senior Director of Talent Management & Inclusion is a strategic leader responsible for designing and executing talent and inclusion strategies across the Comcast Business organization that align with future business goals and drive organizational performance. This role develops strategies that span the full talent lifecycle—including workforce planning, succession management, leadership development, career growth and talent mobility—ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains the talent to meet current and future business needs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven consultative approach and a demonstrated ability to successfully lead large-scale initiatives. The position requires expertise in talent management, project management, and a deep understanding of labor strategy and organizational design principles.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR and Senior Business Leadership to develop and implement comprehensive talent and inclusion strategies that support transformation, growth, innovation and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Oversight of the Comcast Business org talent management planning, design, implementation and execution -- including talent reviews and calibration, succession depth charts for critical roles, targeted development plans for critical talent and succession candidates and implementation of metrics to measure succession health and overall effectiveness and business impact.  
  • Member of the Talent Management and Inclusion Councils – representing Comcast Business while participating in the design of enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Design and lead development and inclusion resources and programs to meet the evolving needs of our global population.
  • Align succession planning to labor strategy for senior leadership roles, ensuring a robust pipeline of diverse, high-potential talent that helps accelerate transformation
  • Partner with Engagement, HR Comms, and Learning & Development to design and implement leadership assessments and initiatives that build future-ready capabilities and align with enterprise priorities 
  • Drive consistent talent review processes across business units, including calibration sessions, SWOT analyses, and readiness assessments 
  • Implement workforce segmentation model to allow for alignment of top talent with prioritized roles to accelerate business transformation
  • Create mechanisms for cross-functional exposure and internal mobility to accelerate development and retention of critical talent 
  • Leverage talent analytics to inform decisions, track progress, and identify gaps in leadership capability, succession coverage and future talent readiness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, HRBPs, and business partners, fostering a culture of talent ownership and accountability
  • Work effectively cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Executing and promoting new talent practices in collaboration with HQ talent management and HR business partners
  • Implementing tools and analytics to yield data-driven insights, informing strategic decisions and reinforcing best practices
  • Developing an overarching inclusion strategy for talent across the organization, driving community-based efforts through strategic external partnerships
  • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of talent professionals
  • Taking a lead role in the advancement of enterprise talent and HR priorities, under talent management leadership guidance
  • Leveraging HR management system enhancements to expedite and improve talent practice applications
  • Supporting business strategies by consulting with leaders to understand talent needs and develop strategic solutions
  • Partnering with leaders and key stakeholders to assess talent needs and trends. Developing strategic solutions that align with and support our business strategies
  • Overseeing the business's performance management and talent planning cycles
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
