Responsibilities / Tasks
- Leads Sub Business Unit Chemical & Environmental Technologies within LPT India Cluster
- Full responsibility for Business operations (Sales, Order Intake, Margin & EBITDA), allocate resources and prioritize initiatives, team training & competency development.
- Develop localization strategies with the CoC for the BU Chemical & Environmental Technologies business with responsibility for implementation and performance delivery. This should be in alignment with the overall organizational strategies. Set, align and govern targets, processes, standards, methods and tools
- Strong financial and operational performance required with key GEA financial KPI delivery on annual budgets and MTP.
- Manage and lead the business activities focusing on financial and profitable growth of organization
- Improve the BU Chemical & Environmental Technologies market position and drive effectiveness, through project execution excellence.
- Take responsibility and ownership for the relevant product portfolio, product management over the entire value chain and product customization in alignment and with inputs from the Technology and Sales groups.
- Ensure top market position and cost competitiveness of the relevant technologies and applications through innovation, product development and standardization and utilization of low-cost manufacturing hubs as required.
- Establish and inspirationally lead and develop high performance “can do” management team, with a focus on nurturing key talents and creating a leadership pipeline
- Ensure the organization has a high customer centric focus but with a view to delivering profitable returns for GEA, timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Responsibility to ensure all necessary contracts and commercial processes are acceptable to GEA before Contractual sign off. Manage and mitigate risk.
- Align closely with the Service and support with execution and technical competence and to ensure drive growth of our highly profitable Service Business.
- Accountable for all processes/teams associated with the operation and execution of the business.
- Ensure adherence of quality/ HSE standards.

Your Profile / Qualifications
Heads Business Line (BL) Chemical & Environmental Technologies with full responsibility & accountability for P&L performance (Order Intake, Sales, GM, EBITDA) in complaint manner, YoY Growth, Creating Open Transparent Working Culture, Driving Strategies for localization by working with CoCs & Developing local competency (process, sales, engineering & best in class execution)
Qualification: Degree in Engineering
Experience
- Min 15 years’ experience in similar functions (5 years as a manager)
- Strong Operational and Project Execution based work experience with organizational practices across several different job areas
- Deep application knowhow, end-to-end process expertise
- Experience with lean production processes and excellent product management
- Product Management expertise
- Proven track record in Project Execution Excellence
- Understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
- Change management experience
- Seasoned business manager with a strong focus on integration of businesses and improving cost and performance efficiency
- Industrial background within a larger global professional organization with a strong emphasis on engineering excellence and innovation
- Deep practical know-how of state-of-the-art process organization methods and improvement tools
