Senior Director, AI/Enterprise Product Management

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Director AI/ Enterprise Product Management is a critical role—central to the Pfizer Patient Services (PPS) team and the next generation of our patient support technology ecosystem. This leader is responsible for overseeing Polaris, Pfizer’s enterprise Patient Support CRM platform, which is essential to delivering optimal patient experiences, enabling seamless care coordination, and ensuring operational excellence across PPS. In addition to guiding enterprise‑wide compliance and governance, this role will lead the evolution of our CRM capabilities, integrating advanced AI, automation, and data‑driven intelligence to modernize how PPS supports patients and operates at scale. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a critical role, responsible for shaping the future of Pfizer’s Patient Support Services technology platforms and ensure seamless integration of technology into program operations. This leader will:  

  • Provide strategic leadership for the end-to-end integration of PPS’s CRM platform, demonstrating deep expertise in patient services, operational models, business processes, and evolving program design needs across Business Units 
  • Establish and govern a unified product requirements framework, ensuring that product roadmaps, requirement documentation, technical specifications reflect patient support needs, treatment experience strategy, and long-term enterprise architecture, and are aligned to compliance standards 
  • Define and manage product lifecycle processes, including intake, prioritization, evaluation, sunsetting, and documentation 
  • Drive adoption and alignment with our overarching digital ecosystem, roadmaps, and strategy recommendations 
  • Maintain a centralized view of all product investments, capabilities, and performance metrics 
  • Drive data-informed product strategy, leveraging analytics, research, user insights, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, define product enhancements, and shape differentiated, user-centered digital experiences 
  • Serve as a liaison to Senior Business Partners, providing regular updates on product progress, risks, and strategic decisions while cultivating strong executive buy-in and influencing cross-enterprise priorities 
  • Champion operational excellence and innovation, ensuring technology strategy proactively anticipates evolving business needs, scalability requirements, and industry shifts across the patient services landscape. 
  • Build a high performing team, creating business plans and setting priorities to achieve business objectives and goals. Influence across multiple external and internal stakeholders. Lead and develop direct, indirect and cross-business team 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelor’s required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred  
  • 12+ years’ experience in CRM product management, digital platform leadership, or technology strategy, including driving adoption of complex, future-focused technology capabilities 
  • 5+ years of people management experience required 
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning frameworks and libraries 
  • Demonstrated success in a highly fast-paced setting 
  • Ability to influence without authority, setting business direction, priorities, and action plans 
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills, with cross-functional teams of diverse colleagues  
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience in presenting to senior leaders 
  • Ability to oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact 
  • Commitment to developing and coaching others

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
