Key Responsibilities
Identify trends impacting financial advisors’ practices, including a wide variety of financial wellness and planning topics such as retirement, equity compensation, legal and regulatory and other business management practices.
Help to assess and evolve strategic focus areas for the Advisor Consulting & Development program, with an eye on what is critical today and what will be relevant over the long term.
Work with external vendors and consultants to provide subject matter expertise; and manage business and contractual relationship with external parties.
Deliver presentations, keynote addresses, workshops and 1x1 consulting with financial advisors.
Collaborate with sales partners to align on the go-to-market strategy for specific topics and content
Create and promote related content and messaging as well as training associates on delivery of content to financial advisors.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and industry credentials (ex CFP, CIMA, CPWA) preferred
10-15 years financial services experience, ideally within asset or wealth management industry working directly with advisors or clients
Experience working with financial planning topics that could include retirement, workplace wealth, equity compensation, small business owners
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to write thought leadership pieces and collaborate with marketing to create presentations
Travel required, though varied, could be 25% of time
