US Oncology – Technology Transformation Organization is seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team within the USON Technology Team. The Digital Systems Analyst will design, develop, and orchestrate workflow automations and AI-enabled solutions to streamline Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations. This role focuses on building scalable automation using low-code platforms, AI frameworks, and orchestration engines. The analyst collaborates with RCM SMEs, digital solutions teams, and clinical/administrative stakeholders to translate business processes into automated workflows that improve accuracy, reduce cycle times, and minimize manual effort.
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Automation & AI Integration
Design and implement automated workflows leveraging AI-driven decision logic and orchestration frameworks.
Solution Development
Build reusable automation components and integrate APIs/connectors for seamless system interoperability.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business and technical teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.
Operational Excellence
Modernize processes such as eligibility, prior authorization, claims, denials, documentation support, and patient financial communication.
Continuous Improvement
Monitor automation performance and optimize workflows for efficiency and compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills:
7+ years of hands-on experience in workflow automations, system analysis, digital process engineering.
4+ years of hands-on experience using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar tools).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical workflow logic.
Strong experience in workflow design and automation engineering.
Proficiency with low-code automation tools and AI platforms.
Hands-on experience integrating systems via APIs/connectors.
Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI handling, audit controls).
Familiarity with embedding AI capabilities into operational processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs, technical teams, and operational stakeholders.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with healthcare Revenue Cycle processes (eligibility, authorizations, coding, claims, denials) is helpful but not required.
Understanding of conversational AI and agent frameworks (Copilot Studio, vendor agent builders, chatbot platforms).
Experience with data formats such as JSON and XML.
Exposure to process mining, analytics tools, or automation monitoring tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple automation initiatives concurrently.
Understanding of healthcare operations and patient flow.
Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field), or equivalent work experience.
